1) they don't give you nothing for free.

No gifts. No free bags or free dresses. Not even a pin. I don't know, maybe Dolce&Gabbana and other big names do that and I think so (I've read tweets about that). It's work, baby.

2)models are no anorexics. they are just thin. Or young. Or both.

Obviously there are a few very, very thin. They don't eat nothing except for small salads. Probably they have some problems with food. 

But most part of the models do eat and they like to do that.

3) You don't do shooting in lost paradises or amazing beaches. You do shootings in studios. Sometimes on locations but not so often (anymore).

4) Even in the magic, sparkling world of fashion you can feel the credit crunch's effects.

5) Do you like "The Devil Wears Prada"movie? Sometimes is like that, but obviously no one gives you super clothes for free, so forget all this part.
